Gaza: Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh killed in Tehran in Israeli strike, movement says

The Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Iranian Islamic Republic, said on Wednesday, July 31, that the political leader of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, had been killed in Tehran along with one of his bodyguards. According to the Islamist movement, he was assassinated by an Israeli strike.
