A source close to the Saudi Al-Hilal Club indicated that its right-back, Saud Abdul Hamid, is close to leaving for the Italian club, Roma.

The source revealed on Thursday that “the news about Saud Abdul Hamid's transfer to Roma is true, and the Saudi Super Cup final against Al-Nassr next Saturday may be Saud Abdul Hamid's last with Al-Hilal.”

Abdel Hamid (25 years old) is committed to playing abroad in light of the official offer submitted by Roma.

Abdul Hamid is one of the prominent players that Portuguese Jorge Jesus, Al Hilal coach, relies on in his starting lineup.

Abdel Hamid has become the most popular name in the past hours, after the interest of the Italian club Roma.

According to the global website “Transfer Market”, Abdel Hamid's market value increased to 4 million euros in June 2024, compared to his market value in December 2023.

Abdul Hamid's market value increased by about 1.2 million euros, as his market value was about 2.8 million euros.

Abdul Hamid ranks second on the list of the most expensive Saudi players, behind Al-Ahly striker Firas Al-Brikan.

Abdul Hamid's contract with Al Hilal ends at the end of next season, after he joined it in January 2022 from Al Ittihad.
