Scenes broadcast by the account of Sarah Haniyeh, daughter of the late head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, showed the moments of his wife, Hajja “Umm Al-Abd”, bidding farewell to his body after its arrival in Doha from Tehran.

Haniyeh's wife said, as she bid farewell to her husband's body, with moving words: “Say hello to all the martyrs of Gaza, my beloved, my beloved in this world and the hereafter.”

A clip on the same account also showed the deceased's son bidding farewell to the body.

The head of Hamas' political bureau was assassinated in Tehran at dawn yesterday, Wednesday.

The body of the late Palestinian leader arrived in Doha on Thursday evening, in preparation for his funeral tomorrow, Friday, with popular and official attendance.

The funeral prayer will be held for the deceased after Friday prayers at Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque in Doha, and he will then be buried in the cemetery of the founding imam in Al-Wusail.
