Al Jazeera's correspondent reported today, Friday, that the Israeli occupation forces stormed several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and carried out a campaign of arrests and raids.
In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested 3 Palestinians after storming the city from the Beit Furik checkpoint.
In Tulkarm, Palestinian media reported that resistance fighters targeted the occupation forces during their storming of the town of Ramin in the northern West Bank with an explosive device.
Pictures showed a group of Israeli vehicles accompanied by a military bulldozer during their storming of Ramin near Tulkarm.
Palestinian sources also reported that the occupation forces arrested the Palestinian Jamal Suwai after raiding his home in the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarm, noting that he is a freed prisoner.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli military vehicles stormed Jenin and raided several neighborhoods before withdrawing from the city.
In Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, the occupation forces raided 3 homes and interrogated the citizens inside.
In the southern West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 4 Palestinians in the city of Bethlehem.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has escalated its attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, killing 594 Palestinians, including 142 children, injuring 5,400, and arresting more than 9,890, according to official Palestinian sources.
On an almost daily basis, the Palestinian resistance in the northern occupied West Bank announces that it has carried out operations, where Israeli military points, checkpoints and vehicles are subjected to gunfire.
Coinciding with the escalation in the West Bank, the Israeli occupation, with American support, launched a war on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in more than 130,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.
In contempt of the international community, Tel Aviv continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
