Moto G8 Power or Redmi Note 8: who wins this fight?
Who will win this fight? Let's find out.
Performance
The two models are extremely similar. Both use the same Snapdragon 665, come with 4GB of RAM, have 64GB of internal storage and have the same IPS LCD screen.
The differences are in size, the Moto G8 Power is 6.4 inches while the Redmi Note 8 is 6.4, and in the battery. The Motorola model has 5000 mAh while the Redmi has 4000 mAh.
With so many similarities, the G8 Power only wins this one because of the battery.
Camera
In terms of cameras, Redmi has the advantage. It comes equipped with four rear cameras of 48Mp, 8Mp, 2Mp and 2Mp that shoot in 4K and a 13Mp front camera that shoots in Full HD.
The Moto G also comes with a set of quad cameras of 16Mp, 8Mp, 8Mp and 2Mp, which film in 4K and a 16Mp front camera that films in Full HD.
Although the Note 8 takes photos in higher resolution, the G8 Power is no slouch. It has a 2x optical zoom, which can result in better photos in some situations.

Design
Both devices are almost the same size and weight. The difference is really in the style of each one. The Redmi has a glass back while the Motorola has a plastic finish.
Both models have the camera set placed on the left side, and are also very similar in this regard.
At the front, the difference is that the Redmi has a centered notch for the camera, while the Moto G leaves the camera at a point to the left of the screen.
Price
Here the similarities continue. Both models can be found today in the R$1,300 range and promotions always appear. Finding one of them for R$1,000 is a sure bet.
So, who takes it?
The dependency appears again. Redmi has advantages in the camera and finish, while Moto G has its battery as its main highlight. The performance of both is very similar, providing a good experience.
