Grey's Anatomy: Very good news for Meredith's love life in season 21 – TV Series News

Grey's Anatomy fans will get to see a little more of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) than last season. As a result, Scott Speedman (who plays Nick, the heroine's boyfriend) will be appearing more on screen in the upcoming episodes…

Season 21 of Grey's Anatomy is in preparation in the United States. The medical series will return to the air on Thursday, September 26 on the ABC channel (the broadcaster of the show across the Atlantic) and fans of the adventures of the Seattle doctors are impatient!

Changes in the cast of “Grey's Anatomy”

Casting-wise, several changes are about to take place. As a reminder, Jake Borelli (who has played Levi since season 14) will be leaving the fiction soon. However, he will appear in enough episodes to close his story properly…

But that's not all, because another exit will take place before our eyes during season 21 of Grey's Anatomy: Midori Francis, who has played the role of intern Mika Yasuda for two years, will also begin her exit during this future batch of episodes.

Scott Speedman will be more present in season 21

On the other hand, thanks to the end of Station 19 (the Grey's Anatomy spinoff featuring the Seattle firefighters), Jason George (aka Bailey's husband Ben) will become a recurring member of the cast again! Last but not least, Ellen Pompeo will be more present on screen as Meredith this year.

The latter's comeback in a larger capacity also allows Scott Speedman to gain more visibility on screen, as reported by our American colleagues at Deadline.

Nick's interpreter, who is none other than Meredith's companion, will indeed appear in five parts of this next salvo, against four originally planned. Thus, viewers will have the opportunity to see more of the couple who have already gone through their share of crises…

What new challenges await them in season 21 of Grey's Anatomy? See you in September!
