An 11-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a masked man at a football stadium in Spain on Sunday.
The tragedy occurred in the town of Moquejon in the center of the country when the victim was on the edge of the square when he was attacked.
According to Marca, several children were playing sports on the grounds of the Angel Tardio stadium in Toledo province, before a masked person entered the playing area and stabbed the child, the newspaper reported.
Despite the intervention of emergency services and a helicopter to evacuate him, the victim died from his injuries.

The perpetrator is on the run.
After stabbing the first victim, the perpetrator tried to attack the other boys, but they fled.
The Judicial Police Unit opened an investigation, and its members began searching for the perpetrator, while the motive behind this treacherous act is not yet known.
According to the Spanish ABC, the perpetrator fled in a car, and the stadium is equipped with surveillance cameras.
