Big-mouth rapper in court – money-thrower Jamal faces 5 years in prison | Regional
Munich – His videos have been viewed tens of thousands of times on YouTube. The Munich rapper “Jamal” comes across as a tough guy, rhyming about luxury cars, weapons, prison and, of course, drugs.
In one of his videos, “Jamal” throws money around. In the accused case, he is said to have sold cocaine for almost 50,000 euros
But now the gangster rapper “Jamal” has become the real gangster Johannes S. (21). He has been in custody for ten months and is now being tried in the Munich Regional Court.
In one of his Songs “Jamal” raps from prison: “Let’s move the vacuum bags. Plus six years in prison if the cops catch me again!” Now he is actually facing at least five years in prison. The public prosecutor’s office is charging him with armed trafficking in a considerable amount of narcotics.

► The electrician trainee is said to have sold 1.4 kilograms of cocaine to a dealer for almost 49,000 euros last September. In addition, according to the indictment, drugs were found in his “narcotics bunker” in Munich-Giesing During a search, more than 200 grams of marijuana and another 26 grams of cocaine were found. A carpet knife with a blade more than eight centimeters long was within easy reach in a drawer in the apartment. The rapper was therefore charged with armed drug trafficking.

In the process Johannes S. is very sheepish and admits to the drug dealing. However, he only used the cutter knife to portion out the drugs and did not store it as a weapon. His defense attorneys Benedikt Stehle and Irmak Sezer hope to avoid a long prison sentence and confirmed when asked: “The knife was never intended to injure people or for defense purposes. Only to portion out the drugs. That is why we do not consider the crime of armed trafficking to be present.”

Five more days of trial are scheduled until the beginning of September. If “Jamal” is convicted, he would probably have to pay around 60,000 euros – the profit he is said to have made from the drugs – to the state treasury.
