Battle of the browsers, who wins: Chrome, Edge or Firefox?
Google Chrome has taken over the browser market, but is it still the best browser in 2020? We tested the 3 most popular ones and will help you choose the ideal one here on our list. Shall we?
Security
All browsers performed well in this regard. With all certifications, they also feature a private browsing mode. However, Google's browser is not the best in this area. With features to block third-party scripts and cookies, Firefox and Edge offer an additional layer of protection. But there is nothing that is too different between them.
Interface
With Chrome and Firefox being very similar in their interfaces and customizations, they offer a good aesthetic and functional experience with simple options that are easily found. In addition, they can be saved for other devices, without having to modify the browser every time.
Edge, on the other hand, is still quite outdated. With Microsoft's “old man” customization model, with ads displayed on the home screen, customization with suggested images and news that often doesn't provide any information, the browser is very aggressive and the least functional of the three in this regard.

Hardware Consumption
Here the winner is already known, Chrome is a RAM memory sucker, often with tabs open and several plugins running, even more powerful machines notice that Google's browser is working there, being the only one to present some kind of problem for less powerful PCs and cell phones.
Stability
Here, Chrome is also the only one to be highlighted, but as the winner of the round. With very fast performance but machines that can handle its consumption, it can run several extensions without crashing. Both Firefox and Edge presented some type of problem, with extensions that crashed, or the need to restart the program.
The verdict is…
If your PC, laptop or smartphone is more powerful, Chrome is still the best option on the market. With several features and extensions, it gives you all the options to customize your experience and get the best performance. Although it does not block cookies and ads, for Google's business reasons, it has several security certifications.
If Chrome is too heavy for you, Firefox is an excellent option. With features very similar to Chrome, with several interesting extensions and customizations, it is also open source and non-profit.
Edge is a great evolution compared to the dreadful Explorer, and stole third place from Safari, but it still needs to improve the interface, which is still very outdated and has little charm to compete with the champions.
