Economic experts' gold comments for August 19, 2024: While horizontal pricing occurred on the exchange rate side towards the close of last week in gram gold, a rise parallel to the rise in ounce gold in particular occurred and 2117 TL levels were tested. We think that due to the weak data flow in global markets today and parallel to the horizontal pricing we expect in the exchange rate, there may be correction pricing after the rapid increase in ounce gold.
Technically, in pullbacks, 2700TL can be followed as the first support. In case of a downward break of this level, 2685TL and 2660TL can be followed as support zones. In case of persistence above 2700TL in rises, 2720TL level will be the first resistance zone, and if the rise continues, 2730TL and 2750TL will be followed as other resistance zones.
