Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured early Thursday morning when an Israeli drone bombarded a gathering of citizens in Balata camp, east of Nablus city in the northern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced.

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 5 Palestinians were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation drones’ bombing of the camp. The occupation forces detained an ambulance in Balata camp, inside which was one of the seriously injured people.

The Red Crescent said that among the injured were a girl and a woman.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the eastern area of ​​the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that clashes broke out between resistance fighters and the occupation forces when they stormed the city. Palestinian youths also set fire to car tires and blocked some roads with stones in an attempt to confront the storming.

Occupation soldiers from the sniper squad were seen on the roofs of buildings overlooking the eastern area where the tomb of the Prophet Joseph is located.

The occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus to secure the entry of Israeli buses carrying settler groups to the tomb to perform Talmudic rituals.
