Resistor

Will Smith will then continue in the science fiction genre with the Resistor project. He will be the headliner of this film adapted from the novel Influx by Daniel Suarez, published in 2014. The story follows Jon Grady, a physicist whose team manages to create a device capable of reflecting gravity. Their research will revolutionize the field of physics.

Grady expects his entire team to be cheered on, but instead his lab is locked down by a secret organization whose mission is to prevent the social upheaval caused by sudden technological advances at all costs. This Technology Control Bureau uses the advanced technologies it has collected over the decades to fulfill its mission.

Sugar Bandits

The story introduces us to Neal Page; his only desire is to get home in time to celebrate Thanksgiving. But his plane is canceled due to bad weather, so he has to resort to other means of transportation. Which wouldn't be a problem in itself, if he didn't also have to put up with the company of Del Griffith, a talkative traveling salesman who won't let him go…
