What do the occupation army's recommendations and evacuation orders mean? A military expert answers | News

Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, believes that the Israeli occupation army’s recommendation to end its military operations in the Gaza Strip confirms that there are no military targets that can be attacked inside the Palestinian Strip. He said that the evacuation orders are preparing for an upcoming military operation.

He added – in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that the Israeli army has ended the major military operations in Gaza, and said that it will move to the third phase, which will be less intense and more focused, but it has not officially announced the end of the battle of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority quoted security officials as saying, “The Israeli army's operations in the Gaza Strip have generally ended.” The officials added that the security establishment informed the political leadership that it was time to conclude a deal to return the Israeli detainees.

Colonel Al-Falahi pointed out that the promotion of the end of military operations in the Gaza Strip comes in light of what he described as a major disagreement between the political and military leaderships in Israel, as the military says that the military operations have exhausted their purposes and that the war must be stopped and a deal must be reached in order to return the prisoners.

Colonel Al-Falahi once again addressed the field developments, especially the incursion of the occupation forces into the Tal Al-Hawa area south of Gaza City, where previous incursions were forced to withdraw due to qualitative operations by the Palestinian resistance factions.

In the same context, he referred to the operation carried out by Qassam Brigades -The military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (agitation) – In Tal al-Hawa, where it announced the detonation of two anti-personnel bombs in two jeeps of the occupation forces and the clash with the remaining Israeli soldiers, killing and wounding them, in the vicinity of the university college in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood.

According to Colonel Al-Falahi, the resistance fighters succeeded in infiltrating and planting explosive devices on the paths of the Israeli vehicles advancing in the Tal Al-Hawa area, noting that the occupation army, after the losses it suffered in terms of armored vehicles, has begun to rely on jeeps in its incursion operations.

He pointed out that the losses among the occupation forces due to the Qassam Brigades operation reached 11 dead and wounded.

Regarding the evacuation orders issued by the occupation army, Colonel Al-Falahi said that they fall within the third stage, which relies on air power in the bombing process, and carrying out incursions with limited forces into specific geographical areas, then withdrawing afterwards.

He said that there are forces penetrating the area east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and are currently clashing with resistance fighters.

He believed that the evacuation orders in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip were intended to prepare for a military operation in the area in the coming period.

The Israeli occupation army called on the residents of the Maghazi refugee camp and other areas in the central Gaza Strip to evacuate their homes in preparation for launching a military operation “immediately.”
