One was born in Boulogne-Billancourt on March 13, 1989, the other in Montreal 7 days later, on March 20, 1989. Both have a father of Egyptian origin.

Pierre Niney began acting on stage at the age of 21 and got his first film role in 2011 in the film J'aime regarder les filles and was thus nominated for the 2012 Césars as most promising actor.
