As the police investigate the burglary of Alix's gallery, she begins to have serious doubts about her lover in Un Si grand soleil. But did Nicolas really steal Tushido's works?
Warning, this article contains spoilers for the next episodes of Un si grand soleil. If you don't want to know anything, don't read what follows!
Alix (Nadia Fossier) is going through a difficult time in Un si grand soleil.
Since the burglary of her art gallery, Alix has been in a particularly delicate financial situation. And for good reason, Tushido is demanding 60,000 euros from her in compensation for her stolen works. A sum that the gallery owner obviously does not have and that she is unfortunately not ready to raise.
And the Midi-Libre article is not exactly helping his business. In fact, artists are now refusing to take the risk of exhibiting in his gallery. Enough to seriously jeopardize his turnover.
The only solution to her problems is therefore to find the perpetrator of the burglary in order to be compensated by the insurance.
So when Ludo (Folco Marchi) discovers that an artist has entrusted Nicolas (Franck Borde) with the expertise of Japanese prints dating from the 19th century before being burgled two weeks later, Alix's suspicions are aroused.
If until now she gave him the benefit of the doubt, Alix made some disturbing discoveries that reinforced her concerns. Even if the 20,000 euros in cash found in the curator's office should have already put her on guard, it is a conversation that she discreetly attends that will finally confirm her doubts.
In the episode broadcast this evening on France 2, Alix overheard Nicolas having a telephone conversation during which he could be heard saying: “I pulled it off. Luckily, I was able to get the cash back in time. No, she didn't give me any trouble. I told you, I have her completely in my pocket.“.
Did Nicolas really burgle Alix's gallery?
The answer is no. In the episode that will be broadcast on August 19, and which is already available on the france.tv platform, Nicolas will be quickly exonerated.
In fact, the curator was taking inventory at the museum on the evening of the gallery break-in, and three guards can attest to this.
Regarding the cash found in his office, it came from his personal account and was used to buy an old comic strip. Nicolas made the purchase in cash at the seller's request and he has written proof of this. There is therefore no doubt that Nicolas is not the perpetrator of the Tushido thefts.
But then, who robbed Alix's gallery? Answer coming soon in Un si grand soleil.
