Is Mathias guilty or a victim?
At the police station, Sara questions Mathias, the Feray receptionist, because he is responsible for inspecting the rooms. However, the day before, Mathias assures that the room intended for Charles Julliard was spotless. However, when he arrived, the latter found a pile of viscera on the bed. Mathias admits that the keys to the rooms are easily accessible. Sara also questions him about the evening when the barbecue caught fire. Mathias declares that he was finalizing the reservation for a group of hikers at that time. Before he leaves, Sara retrieves his gasoline lighter to do some analysis.
A little later, Damien informs Martin that the chemical signature of the lighter does not match the gasoline found on the barbecue. Damien adds that he also analyzed the photos received anonymously the day before by Albane. He claims that they are silver photos developed by an individual.
Back at the hotel, Mathias assures Albane that he has nothing to do with anything that is happening. Without realizing that her husband can hear him, the latter shows him her complete trust. Michaël interrupts them and curtly orders Mathias to go and take care of the rooms. He then turns to his wife, asking her if she is cheating on him with the receptionist. Albane repeats that he is imagining things.
At the police station, Sara questions Victor. Indeed, he had considered making an offer to buy the Feray hotel, but ultimately gave up because the deal was not profitable for him. Sara then wonders why Charles had reserved a room there. Victor sees it as a coincidence. The policewoman then goes to check Victor's alibi for the barbecue fire. He states that he was at the marina for a business meeting.
For her part, Nordine questions Charles. Charles claims that the door to his room was locked before he went inside and discovered the viscera on the bed. He explains that he had booked this room for a fuck buddy, Rachel, but that he finally canceled after what happened. After which, Nordine finds Timothée outside. The young man is upset to have heard Charles speak about Rachel in such terms, even if she had told him that she had had several partners. Nordine is surprised that his ex confided in Timothée and not him. At the Spoon, Nordine has dinner with Rachel and tries to find out more.
At the hotel, Albane, Michaël and Chloé welcome the children of the Feray family, Octave and Mia, who have just returned from summer camp. Albane wants to protect them from the ongoing investigation. Alex, meanwhile, is a little to the side, on the phone with Judith. Hearing someone scream, he hangs up hastily, then heads towards the source of the scream. He then finds Mathias, unconscious, on the ground…
Maud and Diego are surprised in an intimate moment
As her mother prepares to leave for work, Maud subtly tries to make sure she will have the house all to herself. Once Raphaëlle leaves, Camille easily guesses that Maud has planned a one-on-one with Diego. Indeed, the young girl wants to move on to the next level with him.
Maud and Diego are therefore lounging together at the pool. Certain to be alone, they decide to make love. In bed, they mutually admit to having enjoyed this moment. They are then surprised by Martin, who has come to retrieve the wallet that he had forgotten.
In the evening, Raphaëlle notices a general malaise during the aperitif. Maud confesses the truth. Martin is embarrassed, while Camille is amused by the situation. After dinner, she questions her sister, who tells her how well her first time with Diego went. Camille is happy for her and seems nostalgic for the first times.
Mona sends a spicy message
At Little Spoon, Mona confides to Nathan and Valentine that she has finally discovered the identity of her secret admirer: she is convinced that it is Alain, François' father. However, she wonders why he did not respond to her comment on Instagram. Nathan and Valentine offer to write a message in her place to restart the conversation. Thanks to them, Mona and her admirer agree on a caliente signal.
At Spoon, Bart notices that Mona has changed the daily special to chili con carne. He worries that the dish won't work with customers during a heatwave. But then he realizes that it's just a technique his cook uses to spot his crush.
During the service, Mona waits for a sign from Alain, who has come to lunch with François and has indeed ordered a chili. For his part, Alain tells his son that Mona can't stop staring at him. He then shows François a keychain in the shape of a red pepper. Mona immediately interprets it as the signal that confirms her suspicions.
