The Delcourts move into the Feray hotel
Alex, Chloé and Céleste arrive at the Feray family hotel. This is an opportunity for Chloé to meet her cousin Michaël. A police officer by profession, he has taken time off to help his wife, Albane, relaunch the hotel she inherited from her uncle. As time goes on, Chloé remembers the places where she spent many holidays when she was a teenager.
Everyone gathers in the hotel lobby. Michaël explains to the Delcourts that after 20 years in Paris, they wanted to return to Sète and taking over the hotel was the perfect opportunity. He then explains that their teenage children, Octave and Mia, are at summer camp and will be returning soon. Alex and Chloé thank their hosts for putting them up for free while they work. Albane winces and appears annoyed.
Upstairs, Albane reproaches her husband for not having warned her that he planned to put up his family for free. While Michaël accuses her of not being able to stand Chloé, Albane retorts that she is mainly concerned about the financial risk that the hotel represents for her. Michaël apologizes for stressing her out.
Outside, Chloé talks to Alex about the discomfort with Albane. Chloé knows full well that the latter does not like her. This is also the reason why she lost sight of her cousin. At the same time, Albane comes to tell the couple that their rooms are ready. She takes the opportunity to apologize for her behavior earlier, assuring them that she is very happy to be able to help them out. She invites them to join the barbecue planned for that evening.
While someone is watching and taking pictures of this reunion without anyone knowing, Alex and Chloé settle into their room. Diego comes to join them and asks to be able to invite Maud to the party. But Chloé declares that it would be too delicate given the already tense situation with Albane.
Ready for the evening, the Delcourts go around the pool and come across Raphaëlle, who was invited because she helped the Ferays take care of the hotel succession. For his part, Diego goes to lend a hand in the kitchen. He interrupts an argument between Michaël and Albane.
A little later, at nightfall, Michaël is busy with the barbecue. Suddenly, his apron catches fire. Alex then pushes him into the pool to save his life and falls into the water with him…
Melody and Bastien get closer
At the hospital, Marianne signs Mélody's discharge authorization. She points out that this will probably please Bastien, who came to see her the day before while she was sleeping and who stayed at her bedside for a long time. Mélody is very moved to hear this.
At the Spoon, Mélody tells Audrey that Bastien came to see her at the hospital without her knowing. She hopes that this bodes well for their relationship. Mona and Audrey advise her to do something in return.
Mélody then goes to the high school to bring clothes for Bastien's association. The latter asks her about her arm injury. Mélody admits that she thought of him when the bullet grazed him, fearing she would never see him again. The young woman pulls herself together, while Bastien receives a bit of pressure from Mona who sent him a message. Fortunately, he takes it well. Relieved, Mélody suggests that he use the informal “tu” to address her, which he accepts.
At the end of the day, Mélody confides in Georges. He is very confident about what will happen next.
Did Mona unmask her secret admirer?
At the Spoon, Bart reads Mona the latest comment posted the day before by his secret admirer under the pseudonym “Mouthwater”. Mona is determined to discover his identity, even if it means being a little too intrusive with the customers and taking pictures of them without their knowledge.
In the evening, François has a drink at the Spoon with his father, Alain. He asks Mona if it is possible to take away some leftovers from the day's dishes, specifying that his father has fallen in love with her cooking. Mona quickly returns to the kitchen to answer François' request.
Seeing her do it, Nathan is surprised. Mona explains what just happened, then decides to respond to the last comment of “L'eau à la bouche”. Alain's phone starts to vibrate. The latter looks at his screen, then looks up at Mona, who is now convinced that it is her secret admirer.
