The stocks that gained and lost the most this week on the stock exchange

The selling pressure experienced in Borsa Istanbul last week on global stock markets continued this week as well.

BIST 100 index started the week with an increase, followed a fluctuating course throughout the week and closed the week with a loss.

BIST100 Index closed the week at 9,822 points, losing 0.86 percent compared to the previous week's close.

The index saw a low of 9,708.34 and a high of 10,078.12 points during the week.

In the same period, Borsa Istanbul Financial Index gained 0.42 percent to 10,835.25 points, Services Index decreased 1.27 percent to 9,778.52 points, Industrial Index lost 1.36 percent to 13,444.88 points and Technology Index lost 0.49 percent to 13,483.86 points.

Analysts, on the other hand, emphasize the importance of maintaining stability above the 10,000 level, which has psychological importance for recovery.

TOP RISING AND FALLING STOCKS

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, Şekerbank rose the most this week with 10.29 percent.

Şekerbank was followed by Batıçim Batı Anadolu Çimento with 9.94 percent and Akbank with 7.37 percent.

Among the stocks in question, those that lost the most value were Anadolu Grubu Holding with 10.49 percent, Tukaş Gıda Sanayi with 9.83 percent and Kardemir (D) with 9.29 percent.

The most valuable companies whose shares are traded on Borsa Istanbul are Koç Holding with 460 billion 11 million lira, Garanti BBVA with 457 billion 800 million lira and Turkish Airlines with 405 billion 30 million lira.
