Described as habitually truant, her sister says Tammy often fought with her parents and had ran away several times prior to her disappearance, though she never disappeared for more than a few days at a time.

Tamara Porrin was last seen on the evening of November 22, 1986 in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Tamara never returned home, and hasn’t been heard from since.

She wasn’t officially reported missing until 1994.
