So far, only the discounted tickets for SonneMondSterne 2024 are sold out. Regular tickets for the festival weekend are still available for 189 euros on the Website of the organizer. There is also a 49 euro charge for camping and a 5 euro environmental deposit.
But this year there is another option. For the first time, day tickets are being offered for Friday (99 euros) and Saturday (119 euros). Although these do not include camping, they allow electronic music fans to visit the SMS Festival for their absolute favorite music acts.
What to consider when buying a day ticket
The organizer is responding to demand with the new offer. “We have been asked for this for many years,” Helmers told BILD. The tickets, which really boost advance sales, are limited and half of them have already been sold out.
But be careful: With a day ticket, festival visitors can only arrive from 2 p.m. and are admitted from 6 p.m. In addition, departure must be by 12 p.m. on Saturday or 4 p.m. on Sunday the following day.

Payment at the SonneMondSterne Festival
The complete festival is cashless – this means that all drinks and food as well as fan articles and other purchases must be paid for with a wristband. The only exception is the parking fee when entering the grounds.
The festival wristbands are issued upon presentation of the ticket and contain a chip for cashless payment. Visitors can top up these at various stands and in advance in the online shop.
If there is still money on the chip after the festival, visitors can have it transferred to their account using the chip number. This is possible until August 31st, also via the online shop. No money will be paid out at the festival itself.
At night, colorful lasers shoot across the festival grounds. The crowd goes wild and celebrates to electronic music, pop, rock and hip hop
