Samsung Galaxy A71 vs A51: who's better?
Launched in mid-2020, the Galaxy A line of smartphones has been a huge hit among mid-range devices in Brazil. But which one is the best option for you? That's what we're going to try to find out in this comparison.
Galaxy A51
The cheapest one comes with a good cost-benefit package. Found today in the R$1600 range, it has many interesting features, including a quad camera that films in 4K.
The A51 comes equipped with an Exynos 9611, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 512GB, a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, a quad rear camera with 48 Mp, 12 Mp, 5 Mp and 5 Mp that shoot in 4K, a 32 Mp front camera that also shoots in 4K, and a 4000 mAh battery.
Being a slightly smaller model, but with the same design as the A71, the Galaxy A51 is also a good option for those who don't really like larger cell phones.

Galaxy A71
The most powerful version of the Galaxy A line is one of the best value for money options for those who want to spend a little more without splurging.
Today it can be found in the R$1900 range, and comes with some improvements compared to its cheaper brother.
It comes equipped with a Snapdragon 730, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 512GB, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, a quad rear camera with 64 Mp, 12 Mp, 5 Mp and 5 Mp that shoot in 4K, a 32 Mp front camera that also shoots in 4K and a 4500 mAh battery.
With the larger screen, the upgrade in display quality makes some difference, but in terms of camera package the device is almost the same.
Another highlight is the presence of a Snapdragon 730, instead of Samsung's criticized Exynos, which heats up a lot, increasing battery consumption, which also gained 500 mAh.

Which one is more worthwhile?
The point here is how much you want to invest in the device. With very similar features, but with better performance on the A71, you won't have a bad cell phone regardless of your choice.
But you can take advantage of the more expensive version of the line. The big difference ends up being the Snapdragon's performance and battery consumption. If you are a heavy smartphone user, these are points that can make a difference in your choice.
Now, if you want a cell phone with an attractive price, a good camera and performance that doesn't let you down in most apps, the A51 may be enough for you.
So, what's your choice? Do you have any of the models? Tell us in the comments.
