Heilbronn – The Bikini Art Museum in Bad Rappenau has pulled off a coup. At an auction in Dallas (USA), a golden bikini was bought for 175,000 dollars. The film character Princess Leia wore it in 1983's “Return of the Jedi.”

To find the original bikini of actress Carrie Fisher (1956-2016) from the sixth part of the series “star Wars“ a real bidding rally broke out. A spokesman for the museum in Bad Rappenau (Baden-Wurttemberg): “Three bidders shot up for minutes.” In the end, museum director Alexander Ruscheinsky had the most staying power – and the thickest wallet.
