Friday August 16 in Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful…
Yolande does as she pleases
Léa finds Babeth, Raphaëlle and Aurore at the beach. Suddenly, the doctor discovers that her mother bought her daughter a toy, which annoys her: “You are too lax”. Babeth replies that this excess of indulgence comes from her mother, Yolande.
Babeth takes the opportunity to show her the results of her mother's blood test. And the least we can say is that the data is not very reassuring. A few minutes later, the two women summon Yolande to the doctor's office.
Léa tells her grandmother that she has too much cholesterol. That's not all, since her calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D levels are extremely low. Babeth gets upset when she discovers that her mother is no longer taking her osteoporosis treatment. Yolande replies that she is too old to be lectured.
At the end of the day, Babeth and Léa suggest to Yolande that they join them at the park. The mother and daughter take the opportunity to scare her by explaining that if she doesn't take her medication, she'll soon have to use a walker or even a wheelchair. As a result, Yolande agrees to get treatment for her illness.
Nisma makes a revelation
Steve is summoned to the police station after the murder weapon is found in his box. The young man swears that he has no connection with the attempted murder of Thomas. However, he admits to having done something stupid at the party organized by the town hall.
Indeed, under the pressure, he broke one of the sculptor's works. Then, Jules helped him clean up the debris, and hid them in a cardboard box. Then, while the artist was giving his speech, Steve and Jules went to hide the package in the woods.
Once the interrogation is over, Patrick and Ariane debrief. They are convinced that Steve is telling the truth. The two investigators think that the weapon ended up in the package on purpose in order to indict the young man.
Suddenly, Nisma arrives at the police station to make a revelation to the investigators: during the evening of July 26, she heard Vanessa arguing with Mehdi, revealing that she was ready to do anything to erase Marci from the landscape.
At the end of the day, Patrick and Ariane inform Meïline that the firearm found in the box is indeed Marcus Lambert's. In addition, they tell the commissioner what Nisma told them. The latter decides to summon Vanessa and Mehdi for questioning.
Thomas comes out of coma
Gabriel goes to the Mistral to give the inhabitants news of Thomas: for the moment, his condition is stable. He adds that his husband's face seems peaceful. This information gives hope to Kilian, who wonders if it is not a sign that his brother will soon come out of the coma. Gabriel answers that it is unfortunately not related.
Suddenly, Blanche suggests the idea of recording voice messages for Thomas. So, Riva takes out her phone and hands it to her friends. Kilian starts the speech first, followed by Luna, Eric and Blanche. The latter suggests that Gabriel read his novel to Thomas, which amuses the other Mistralians.
At the end of the day, Gabriel returns to his husband's bedside. He is in tears and confides in him that he blames himself for everything he has done, then he makes him listen to the messages from his relatives in the Mistral. Suddenly, Thomas's hand starts to move.
Gabriel approaches his husband and explains that he is in the hospital because he was injured. Thomas opens his eyes, looks at his husband, and says to him: “Who are you?” Has Thomas lost his memory? The answer will be found in the next episodes of TF1's daily show.
