Middle East decline in stock market – Sözcü
BIST 100 index, which experienced sharp sales due to the increasing geopolitical risks and news flows in the Middle East, started the new day with a decline.
At the opening, BIST 100 index decreased to 9,320.46 points, with a decrease of 30.75 points and 0.33 percent compared to the previous closing.
While the decline in the stock market deepened in the early hours, the index fell to a low of 9 thousand 197 points.
BIST 100 index is moving at 9 thousand 235 points, with a decrease of 1.21 percent as of 11.10 am.
BIST100 index, which broke the critical 200-day moving average of 9500 after the harsh selling pressure and closed below this level, completed the day yesterday at 9,351.22 points, losing 3.25 percent of its value.
