Economic experts' comments on gold for August 14, 2024: The main price determinant for gram gold continues to be ounce gold. With the horizontal pricing in the exchange rate continuing in the last 6-7 trading days, ounce gold prices, which have experienced a rapid increase, have not exceeded the 2670 TL level. We expect horizontal pricing to continue in both products today. Inflation data to be announced in the US may increase volatility in ounce gold.
Technically, in pullbacks, 2650TL can be followed as the first support. In case of a downward break of this level, 2635TL and 2620TL main support zones can be followed. In rises, 2660TL level can be followed as the first resistance zone. In case the rise continues, 2675TL and 2685TL will be followed as other resistance zones.
