Lebanese Hezbollah announced that its forces bombed the Mount Neria base in the Upper Galilee with Katyusha rockets in response to the Israeli attack on the town of Barashit in southern Lebanon.
The party said that the base includes forces from the Israeli Golani Brigade, and added in a statement that its members targeted a deployment of Israeli occupation soldiers at the Jal al-Deir site with a barrage of rockets, hitting it directly.
The party also targeted the Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with rockets, and the party mourned two of its fighters in the Barashi raid.
The party also announced that it targeted the Israeli Mount Neria base with volleys of Katyusha rockets.
Hezbollah announced that it had bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers around the Meitat barracks with rockets. Hezbollah fighters also bombarded a gathering of soldiers around the Samaka site with artillery, and targeted espionage equipment at the Misgav Am site.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that two rockets were fired towards the Ruwaysat al-Alam site in the occupied Kfar Shouba hills.

In contrast, the Israeli army announced that it had monitored the launch of 25 rockets towards the Meron area, adding that they fell in open areas without causing any injuries, according to the army statement.
For its part, Israeli Channel 12 said that a major missile attack occurred in the Meron area in northern Israel, while Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that sirens sounded in several towns in the Upper Galilee.
The Israeli army confirmed targeting two missile launch pads in the Al-Tayri and Zebqin areas in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army said in a statement that drones attacked two missile platforms ready to launch towards Israel in the Al-Tayri area in Bint Jbeil district and Zebqin in Tyre district in southern Lebanon.
The occupation army also claimed responsibility for an assassination operation that targeted two Hezbollah militants in the Barashi area.

According to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth, Hezbollah has fired more than 7,500 rockets and more than 200 drones at Israel since October 8.
These attacks resulted in the death of 44 people, including 19 soldiers, 24 civilians, and one Indian citizen, while 271 were injured, including 141 members of the army and security forces and 130 civilians, according to the newspaper.
