Doug Lowitz was born on January 28, 1966. At the time of his disappearance he was a resident of Kalispell, Montana. It is believed Doug may be having health issues.

Disappearance

At 8:47pm on November 28, 2024, Doug Lowitz was seen walking his dog Daisy eastbound on West Reserve Drive, near the Stillwater River in Kalispell, Montana.

At approximately 9:30 pm he was seen in the 600 block of Country Way North, just south of Reserve Drive. This is the last confirmed sighting of Doug.

Doug was last seen wearing a white jacket, dress shirt, and dark pants. His dog Daisy is a black and white Boston Terrier who was wearing a pink harness.

Doug never returned home and hasn’t been heard from since. His dog also remains missing.

Investigation

The Kalispell Police Department is urging everyone in the area to check outbuildings and review any surveillance footage you may have from around that time.

There is some urgency, as it’s believed Doug may be having health issues.

Doug Lowitz Found Deceased

On December 28, 2024, Doug Lowitz was found deceased by Flathead County Search and Rescue and Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies during a search by Granrud Lane along the Sillwater River. His dog Daisy was found alive nearby.

The cause of de*ath will be determined by an autopsy, though foul play is not suspected.

White male born on January 28, 1966. Doug has brown hair, brown eyes, stands 5’6 tall, and weighs 200 pounds.
